It's that time of year again. Final test, AP test, final research papers, etc we all know this time of year is probably one of the most stressful times of the year for us students. We can't help it but to be stressed out and I mean who wouldn't be with all of this happening all at once. However, here are some tips that can help us students deal with all this stress and a better way to study.
Stress tips
You've been studying all day for that big test tomorrow, and it's stressing you out, the best thing to do is take a BREAK, it's okay to take a break, go for a walk, go take a snack, or watch a video. Taking a break will go a long way and help you relax and get your mind off for some time before going back to studying
Create a study plan, a lot of time we tend to stress out because we like to study last minute, creating a lot of stress. By making a study plan weeks or even months before will make it easier to study and not be doing it last minute
Avoid distractions, by doing this you are most likely to retain better the information and finish faster
Ask for help, stop stressing and ask for help when you need it
Time management, make sure you know how to manage your time. Manage your time by using it wisely and knowing in what areas to focus on more
One of the most important ones is to get rest. If your tired get some rest, and do not force yourself to stay up
Study tips
Choose a good place to study where there aren't any distractions.
Make sure you know your learning style. Visual, audative, or tactile learner
Review, take a quiz, use a flashcard to test yourself. Make sure you are retrieving the information
Learn from your mistakes; it is okay to make a mistake as long as you learn from in and not continue to do it
Create study groups, if you work well with others make a study group where y'all can all help yourself
